Why This Course?
In Jyotish tradition, D-60 is treated like a Rishi’s microscope.
Where D-1 shows the visible body of life, D-60 shows the bone-deep karma behind it.
Rishis used Ṣaṣṭyāṃśa to:
- understand why some people suffer repeated failures in one area,
- see hidden blessings that are not visible in D-1,
- read the quality of past-life actions that are ripening now,
- find the true devatā connection behind a planet’s suffering or strength.
In modern teaching, students either hear one line – “D-60 is past life” – or a warning – “don’t use it unless birth time is perfect.”
Then the subject is closed.
This mini webinar is meant to open that door again, in a practical and paramparā-based way.
You will see:
- how to approach D-60 without fear,
- how to cross-check its message with D-1, D-9 and D-10,
- and how to slowly bring D-60 into your day-to-day reading, without making wild, ungrounded karmic stories.
The focus is not on “fancy storytelling”, but on clean, logical application.
Curriculum Overview

1. Practical Application of Deities in D-60
- Understanding how each Ṣaṣṭyāṃśa carries a devatā-bhāva.
- How to see which deity is actually supporting or blocking a planet.
- Simple method to match D-60 deity, rāśi, and house to find:
– karmic vows,
– spiritual debts,
– and right type of worship or temple. - Case studies where a correct deity connection in D-60 changed the result of remedy and life direction.
2. Applying Daśā in D-60
- How to synchronise Mahādaśā / Antaradaśā with D-60 positions.
- When a daśā planet in D-60 shows:
– exhaustion of a karma,
– repayment of a past debt,
– opening of a spiritual door. - How to avoid confusion: keeping D-1 as the body, D-9 as the marrow, and D-60 as the seed.
- Examples where same daśā looked neutral in D-1 but became clear when seen through D-60.
3. Transit Techniques on D-60
- How certain transits activate D-60 constellations and bring old karma to the surface.
- Using Saturn, Rahu, Jupiter transit on or over D-60 key points.
- Month-level or year-level triggers when D-60 agrees with D-1 and D-9.
- Reading subtle moments:

4. D-60 Prashna – Level 1
- Concept of touching Prashna through D-60 without casting a separate chart.
- When a client asks a serious question, how to:
– see the D-60 of that moment,
– match it with their own chart,
– and feel where the karma is pulling. - Difference between ordinary Prashna and D-60 Prashna – level of depth, not replacement.
- Simple rules for beginners so that they do not misuse deeper karmic indications.

Depending on time and flow, the webinar can also touch:
- Using D-60 to refine birth time when there is only a small doubt.
- Why some remedies work late or partially – and how D-60 shows the remaining quota of karma.

– basics of divisional charts (at least D-9),
– basic Mahādaśā / Antaradaśā operation. - Practising astrologers who want to add one more sharp instrument to their toolkit.
- Jyotish researchers who are already exploring Varga and karmic charts.
Helpful but not compulsory:
- Some familiarity with Parāśari daśā system,
- Basic comfort with using astrology software that can show D-60.
Important:
- Birth time accuracy matters more for D-60 than for other Vargas.
We will also discuss how to still work carefully even when time is not to the minute. - This course is for spiritual and educational study, not for fatalistic storytelling or frightening clients.
Pre-Requisites
Basic understanding of astrology concepts recommended but not mandatory.
Exam Details & Certification
- This is a mini webinar, so there is no formal written exam.
- You may be given small live exercises on sample charts during the session.
- You will be encouraged to:
– apply at least one D-60 technique on 3–5 charts after the webinar,
– note your observations,
– continue refining through your own practice.
If you want to link it later with a bigger “Secrets of Varga” or “Advanced Jyotish” track, you can mention that participation in this webinar will be counted as a module in that path.
