Week-by-Week Structure (Expanded)
Week 1 – Introduction to Stock Market Astrology
You start with the grammar of Jyotish as it applies to markets:
- basic planets, signs and aspects,
- how transits create waves of sentiment,
- simple examples where strong planetary combinations match major market turns.
You also get a short history of financial astrology – how people across cultures linked cycles of Saturn, Jupiter, eclipses, etc., with crops, trade, and stock prices.
Week 2 – Fundamentals of Technical Analysis
Here we make sure your base is not only mystical but also practical:
- what is a trend, what is support and resistance,
- what candlestick patterns actually matter in everyday trading,
- basic chart patterns,
- simple indicators that do not clutter the mind.
You learn how astrology is not a replacement for technicals but a filter and timing tool around them.
Week 3 – Introduction to Financial Astrology
This week formally opens the door of financial astrology:
- planetary cycles and how they relate to broad market trends,
- role of retrogrades, combust periods, and sign changes,
- how aspects between certain planets often precede spikes in volatility or change of trend.
Examples are taken from Nifty and major global events, so you see theory on live charts.
Week 4 – Planetary Influences on Market Indices
You explore how different planets colour the behaviour of a major index:
- when Saturn presses on Nifty, how does the market behave,
- when Jupiter supports, what kind of expansions come,
- how Rahu–Ketu often show sudden breaks, gaps and panic.
You will also see case studies where:
- particular transits coincide with sharp up-moves,
- other transits match corrections, crashes, or long sideways phases.
You begin to build a feeling for which planets “own the mood” of the market at any given time.
Week 5 – Timing Techniques in Astrology
Timing is where most traders are tested.
This module covers:
- use of planetary cycles, retrogrades and eclipses as timing tools,
- identifying favourable windows and danger zones for aggressive trading,
- aligning intraday or swing trades with transit patterns rather than fighting them.
You work through simple exercises: spotting transit clusters and asking, “If I had a long trade here, would I add, hold, or reduce risk?”
Week 6 – Astrological Chart Analysis for Trading
Here you enter into chart work more deeply:
- constructing and reading a “birth chart” of an index or stock (where available),
- noting key points: Lagna, strong or weak houses, sensitive degrees,
- seeing how transiting planets talk to that natal structure.
You also discuss:
- charts of exchanges,
- charts of major financial entities when possible,
- and how these macro charts echo into everyday price action.
Week 7 – Advanced Astro-Trading Strategies
Once basics are clear, advanced strategies begin:
- combining technical patterns + planet-based timing,
- examples of day trading, swing trading and positional trading with astro-support,
- simple rules for risk management:
– position sizing,
– where to cut loss,
– when not to enter even if “astrology looks good”.
You see why a good astrologer who is a bad risk manager will still lose, and how discipline is part of remedy.
Week 8 – Backtesting and Optimization
No serious system should be taken on faith.
This week is dedicated to:
- backtesting your astro-trading ideas on historical market data,
- checking:
– did certain transits really give edge or is it hindsight bias,
– which setups repeat enough to be trusted.
You learn basic optimisation: how to refine rules slightly without overfitting, and when to stop tweaking.
Week 9 – Building Your Trading Plan
After all this, you bring it together as your own plan:
- what type of trader you are (intraday, swing, positional),
- how much capital, how much risk per trade,
- which astrological tools you will regularly use (transits, eclipses, personal chart periods),
- how to document trades and review performance.
The aim is that your plan reflects your horoscope, your psychology and your lifestyle, not someone else’s.
Week 10 – Case Studies and Review
The final week is full of charts and stories:
- past Nifty moves,
- large news events,
- sharp rallies and crashes.
You see where astrology “spoke loudly”, where it whispered, and where the market ignored all expectations.
Students can also bring their own questions, sample trades and doubts. This week connects theory to your lived trading journey.
