Learning Outcomes of the Astro Vastu Course

After completing Astro Vastu – From Chart to Home, a sincere student should be able to do the following in a clean, repeatable way.

1. Jyotish Foundations for Vastu

You will learn to:

• Understand the difference between “graha” (subtle intelligence) and “planet” (physical body).
• Read a basic horoscope: rāśi, bhāva, lagna, aspects, conjunctions.
• Recognise which grahas are strong, weak, afflicted or guiding.
• See how 12 houses connect to real-life spaces: home, vehicles, office, land, temple corner, storage, etc.

2. Dharmic View of Vastu Jyotish

You will understand:

• How classical Jyotish is divided into branches (Saṁhitā, Jātaka, Praśna, Muhūrta etc.) and where Vastu Jyotish fits.
• Why a remedy is not “magic trick” but karma correction – a dialogue between you and your grahas.
• How to avoid superstition, fear and blind rules while still respecting paramparā and śāstra.
• How to check if a Vastu correction is aligned with dharma (ethics, lifestyle, intention).

3. Using JHora and GL Astro Tools for Astro Vastu

You will be able to:

• Install and use JHora for basic chart calculation even as an ultra beginner.
• Open and read the rāśi chart, see planetary positions and aspects.
• Use GL Astro Tools (course software) to:
  • Link horoscope data with simple Vastu charts.
  • Mark directions, rooms and sensitive spots according to graha indication.
  • Prepare Astro Vastu reports faster and more systematically.

4. Chart-Based Diagnosis before Vastu Remedy

You will learn a clear process to:

• Identify planetary afflictions relevant to house and environment:
  • malefic aspects,
  • debilitation,
  • graha yuddha,
  • dusthāna placements (6th, 8th, 12th) linked with property and residence.
• Locate where in the rāśi the problem is sitting:
  • 4th house for house and vehicles,
  • 8th for underground issues,
  • 12th for losses, leakage and wastage,
  • and their lords and nakshatra connection.
• Tie that to specific life areas:
  • Health problems repeating after house shift.
  • Sudden losses after entering a new office.
  • Marriage disturbance after shifting bedroom.
  • Children’s education disturbed in particular room.
• Construct yogas for accurate prediction, so that:
  • you know which part of life is promised to improve by Vastu,
  • and which part needs more karma, remedies or patience.

5. Applying Vastu Jyotish in Practice

You will gain practical clarity on:

• Vastu articles and their treatment from Jyotish angle:
  • mirrors and reflections (Surya, Shukra, Rahu),
  • beds and sleeping direction (Chandra, Shani),
  • water areas – tanks, bathrooms, overhead tanks, fountains (Chandra, Shukra, Guru, Rahu),
  • fire elements – kitchen, gas stove, havan place, heaters (Agni, Mangal, Surya),
  • pictures, idols, symbols – which graha they stimulate and where to place them.
• A working list of bad placements of Vastu articles and the Jyotish reason behind them.
• How to correct such placements with:
  • movement or removal,
  • change of direction,
  • graha-specific remedies (mantra, daana, upāsanā) tied to house zones.

Example:
If 4th lord is afflicted with Mars and Rahu, you will see repeated property disputes and fire / accident signatures. You will learn where not to keep fire, sharp tools, or red aggressive imagery in that native’s house, and which specific corner can be calmed with guru-based or moon-based remedies.

6. Reading Bad Conjunctions from Vastu Angle

You will learn to:

• Read conjunctions like Sun–Rahu, Mars–Saturn, Shani–Ketu from Astro Vastu perspective.
• Understand how certain conjunctions create:
  • dark, unused corners,
  • blocked windows,
  • heavy storage,
  • wrong object in wrong direction.
• Prescribe simple but precise corrections, such as shifting a bed, removing a picture, moving a water source, adding a lamp in a particular corner etc., always backed by chart logic.

7. Learning Support and Doubt Clearing

• Mid-course and dedicated doubt sessions, where you can bring charts and floor-plan issues.
• Discussion of live examples from students – “This corner always gives fight / sickness / money issue – what does chart say?”
• Guidance on how to continue Astro Vastu research in your own practice.
