Why This Course?
Birth chart shows the full tree of karma.
Prashna shows which branch is shaking today.
When a sincere person comes with a burning question, that very moment is not random. Rishis observed that:
- The lagna rising at question time shows the current situation.
- The Moon reflects the inner fear, hope and confusion.
- Hora, weekday lord and nakshatra tell whether nature is supporting the question or warning against it.
So, instead of forcing everything through the natal chart, we can quietly ask:
“What is time saying right now?”
This course trains you to read that answer.
What is the Nadi Prashna System?
“Nadi” here does not mean only palm-leaf reading. It means sensitive, direct reading of karma through time and grahas.
In the Nadi Prashna approach:
- We treat the Prashna chart more like a Nadi chart,
- We focus on karakas and house connections,
- We see past cause, present knot and near future through planetary links,
- We respect Shiva / Daivya Prashna when the matter is directly connected to temples, mantras, vows or devatā.
This gives a more alive, story-based method, not just mechanical counting of houses.
Where Kashyap Hora fits
Kashyap Hora adds one more layer:
- The number the querent picks,
- The hora at that time,
- The planet owning that hora,
- The link of that planet with the question,
all together show:
- How serious is the question?
- Is the person in a state to receive guidance?
- Is the outcome near or far?
- Is it safe to proceed or not?
For example, if someone asks about job change, chooses a certain number, and the hora lord is Saturn strongly linked to 10th house in Prashna chart, we can see:
- Heavy karma in work field,
- The need for patience or realistic action,
- The risk of impulsive resignation.
In this course, you will see many such examples.
Curriculum Overview
You can format this on the page as a clean list or blocks.
1. Foundations of Horary Astrology (Prashna)
- Nature of Prashna, difference from natal astrology.
- Types of questions: worldly, spiritual, relationship, health, trade.
- When Prashna is valid and when it becomes testing or casual.
- Role of Lagna, Moon, weekday, tithi and nakshatra.
2. Classical Rules from Prashna Tradition
We bring core ideas from texts like Prashna Mārga, Krishneeyam and Kerala paramparā in simple language:
- Indications of success, failure, delay, cancellation.
- How dusthānas behave in Prashna.
- Use of 3rd, 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th houses for common queries.
- Planetary states that show hidden help, hidden opposition, cheating, or divine protection.
3. Kashyap Hora – Numbers and Hora Lord
- How to take number from querent and map it.
- Hora at question time – its lord and nature.
- Blending number, hora lord and Prashna chart.
- Case studies: job, admission, loan sanction, travel, court cases.
4. Nadi Prashna View
- Reading Prashna more like a Nadi chart: karakas first.
- Saturn as karma, Jupiter as grace, Moon as suffering and emotional tone.
- Rahu–Ketu showing hidden pulls, foreign, sudden changes.
- How to see “past cause of this question” from Prashna itself.
5. Shiva Prashna / Daivya Prashna
- What is Daivya Prashna, when should you use it.
- Temple-related questions: vows, prasad, temple shifts, deity’s wish.
- Inner discipline for doing Shiva Prashna.
- Basic patterns showing “Deity agrees / warns / postpones”.
6. Question-Wise Practice
We take many real types of questions, such as:
- “If I go to this place, will it be good for me?”
- “Will this marriage proposal be stable?”
- “Should I invest in this property?”
- “Will my business revive this year?”
- “Will this person return my money?”
- “Where is my lost document / jewellery?”
- “Is this the right stock / day for entry?”
Learning Outcome
By the end of this 1-month course, you should be able to:
- Cast and read a Prashna chart for real questions using standard Jyotish software.
- Judge if a question is fit to answer, or if it should be refused or postponed.
- Use lagna, Moon, hora, weekday lord and nakshatra to see the strength and clarity of the Prashna.
- Answer focused questions related to education, finance, career, marriage, health, travel, property, lost items, desire fulfilment, children, missing persons, etc.
- Apply Kashyap Hora number logic to refine yes / no / wait and estimate timing.
- Understand the basics of Shiva Prashna / Daivya Prashna and how to approach temple-related and devatā-related questions with respect.
- Combine Nadi-style karaka reading with Prashna to give more than a dry “yes” or “no” – to give context, advice and remedies.
- Maintain ethical boundaries in Prashna work: where to speak, where to be silent, where to suggest sādhanā instead of prediction.
Who Should Join This Course
- Jyotish students who know basic chart reading but feel lost when a person asks a single sharp question.
- Practising astrologers who want a reliable horary method instead of informal “quick answers”.
- Nadi and Bhrigu students who wish to add a time-based question tool to their practice.
- Spiritual seekers who want to understand how Ishwara replies through time when we ask.
